Magnus Leijd is a geologist with over 25 years of experience in exploration and development of mineral projects in Sweden and internationally. He has worked with a broad spectrum of ore types and metals - from base metals, precious metals and PGEs to rare earth elements, lithium and industrial minerals. During his time at Lundin Mining/North Atlantic Natural Resources, he participated in the exploration and development of several significant Swedish deposits, and as Chief Geologist for Tasman Metals (later Leading Edge Materials), he led the development of the Norra Kärr REE project from the first borehole to PFS. Magnus has also managed extensive drilling programmes for United Lithium Corp. on the Bergby lithium project. In 2017, Magnus founded Explora Mineral AB together with Anders Zetterqvist and Johan Berg, which through exploration and further development of a range of mineral projects in Sweden successfully sold projects on to internationally listed companies such as District Metals Corp., Alicanto Minerals and European Green Transition Ltd.
